This XPTI checklist is a modern adaptation inspired by the familiar 0–100 internet quiz format. It includes updated experiences and is not the original Rice University questionnaire.

How the score is calculated
Start with 100 and subtract one point for every item checked. A higher score only means fewer items were selected on this specific adapted list.
Why XPTI calls this a modern adaptation
The checklist includes internet-era and updated lifestyle items. Because the wording and item set differ from historical versions, XPTI does not call it the original Rice Purity Test.
What the result cannot tell you
It cannot measure character, morality, health, relationship quality, legal risk, or whether an experience was positive or harmful. Online average-score claims are often based on unknown samples and are not used here.
