What Is the Dark Triad?

Are Dark Triad Traits Common?

The Dark Triad measures subclinical traits — meaning they exist on a spectrum in the normal population. They are distinct from clinical diagnoses like Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) or Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), which require professional evaluation and represent extreme, impairing manifestations of these traits.
